Hello there! My name is Omar Ahmed, and I am currently a PhD student at Johns Hopkins University in the Computer Science Department.

Background

I was born in Egypt, and I grew up in the Lehigh Valley in Pennsylvania, USA. I obtained my BA in Computer Science and Physics at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA. I continued on at Lehigh University to get my MS in Computer Science under the supervision of Dr. Brian Chen.

Currently, I am working on my PhD in Computer Science at Johns Hopkins University under the supervision of Dr. Ben Langmead.
